Outdoor Patio Adirondack Chair with Retractable Ottoman Review

First of all, I ordered this chair thinking I would get the natural finish color pictured. They sent me an email asking for a color choice and told me they didn't have the natural wood finish available. I had a choice of red, blue, white or green. I chose the white but on consideration, they also have a cedar finish which I probably would have chosen had they sent me pictures of the colors. Secondly, this was a difficult piece to put together and I am very good at putting furniture together. The instruction pictures are fuzzy and difficult to see and not all of the holes are pre-drilled or they are drilled in the WRONG PLACE. So, not having a drill, I still have one screw on the seat that I simply cannot get all the way in. The part of the seat back that hooks into the wooden slot to adjust the back position is off, the wooden dowel that fits into the groove is not centered right and they glued it in place at the factory so I can't even fix it so I have to be careful when I adjust the seat position to make sure that the dowel goes into both slots. The chair is very low to the ground as well. Overall, it's pretty comfortable to sit in especially if you get a cushion and the ottoman slides in and out easily enough. I'll probably keep this chair for a season but buy something a little more expensive and sturdy next summer.

I bought this cushion because I had purchased a bench for my front door.I ended up painting my bench the same colour as the beige leaves on the cushion.It looks beautiful on the bench and I have had many compliments on how nice it is and how inviting the front door looks now.The cushion is very durable.Note: The cushion isn't actually 4 ft. long, it is a bit shorter to accomodate the arms of the bench which is perfect.I just love this cushion!

KidKraft® 2 - Slat Rocking Chair Review

This is an adorable chair and the choice of colors is wonderful (the Blue is fantastic). It's simple to put together and sturdy. My only problem was that it came with the paint scratched off on one side, at the top, and on a bottom runner. The damage clearly did not happen in transit, since it was securely wrapped and packaged. We really like the chair, will keep it and I can touch up the paint myself, but I shouldn't have to. Otherwise, this is a nice, high quality little rocker. KidKraft items are great!

Oxford Garden Essex 4-Foot Garden Bench Review

It took me only 30 minutes to assemble. It went together with no problems although the instructions were incomplete. 2 wooden dowels are used on each corner brace as well. Also, I had to use a cordless drill/screwdriver for 4 of the 6 screws as I could not get them going by hand. There was a sticker on the seat to show you where the front was. The sticker was a pain to remove. On one of the pre-assembled ends, the arm does not sit flush onto the front post. You can also feel an edge on top of each arm from sloppy sanding. However, it is a very beautiful and sturdy bench. I love it in spite of the few flaws.

I bought this ceiling fixture at Lowe's two years ago as kitchen,energy saving, light. Original bulb burned out after just two years while being advertised 5+ years bulb. Lowe's did not have replacement so I ordered trough Amazon. This is same bulb as original. It produces good light and I hope it will last much longer than original.
This review is based on original bulb; to expensive for such short life span. I hope replacement will last much longer, otherwise I will replace fixture.

Bench Bracket, pair Review

I was a bit apprehensive about buying these brackets and thought that the method of anchoring them to the deck would result in a bench that would flex when I pushed back on it.I was wrong and the bench is much sturdier than I thought it would be.

I did end up putting two more screws in per bracket on the bottom near the front.

Overall these created a good looking, easy to install bench.I highly recommend them.They are cheaper than buying redwood to build your own bench brackets.

I placed the order on 6/7 - NEVER received a confirmation of my order from the company.After correspondence with the company asking the status of my order, I received an email back.

Order was delivered on 6/23; bench seat was damaged and one of the chairs was missing the seat.I called their 800 #; was no one there and their voicemail was not working.I have sent 3 email since then which included pictures and have not received any feedback or response.

Colors and pattern are crisp and vivid.Weave is tight. The material is soft to the touch.We have not yet hung this hammock outside (still winter here) so we can not vouch for the product's resistance to weather and sunlight.
Definitely looking forward to using it and believe it will be much more comfortable and durable than the traditional "open weave" cotton rope hammocks.

Weather Wrap Wicker Love Seat Cover Review

This was a real bargain compared to what I saw in the local stores in my area. Not only was this very sturdily made, the dimensions were the same as advertised and it's heavy enough to stay put, even in very turbulent and nasty weather. The stitching looks like it should last awhile, and it's long enough to cover the whole love seat to within an inch or so to the deck so leaves (and probably snow) don't pile up underneath it. I'd buy more if I had more outdoor furniture. A terrific buy!

I have been using these trays for 10 months now, and at first I liked them.Excess water could be drained off without moving the plants off the tray.After noticing water on the shelf that the trays were on, I investigated and found they were leaking around the drain hose hole.I would drain the excess water off after each watering (every four days).The trays were poorly designed and I would not recommend them for everyday use.If you don't drain the water very often, they may work for you.But wouldn't recommend them if you plan to drain the water very often.

I have similar bench by same company that i've had outdoors for 10 years and it has held up really well.this autumn bench came damaged..the metal sides were broken.amazon was great with a quick easy replacement, but still a bit of a hassle that it was broken.Assembly is easy but the middle of bench support used to have the holes pre-drilled, and it didn't here, so you have to drill.2 of the screws broke the screw head off going in, flimsy screws, and now the screw is in, but the support is not attached, so it hangs down.bummer.with that said, the bench is pretty, it looks sturdy (but for the brace that i have not attched that hangs there with no purpose, until i figure out what to do...i guess start over with my own screws and move the whole brace).my experience with this bench is that it lasts really forever and it comfortable and attractive at a fraction of the price of other benches.

I had to add my own wire which was unnecesarily complicated.Manufacturer should've included more cord or at least have left the wires bare with quick twist on plugs at the end.Anyway, seems to work so far.

Walker Edison Glass Printer Stand with Castors Review

I like this particular file cart; space below to put some extra paper, and a platform above to hold printers, cups, etc.

Assembly was fairly straightforward; there was a bad moment when I thought I got shorted on screws but because of packaging, they had fallen into the casters.

Instructions weren't completely foolproof, but I've put together trickier with less and some common sense will help.

After assembly, I found that it really was designed to support legal-size hanging files--this here is the reason it didnt' get the full 5 stars. the cheap little bar they give you to hang in place is poorly designed and the first thing it did was dump my files because it isn't secured in any way.If you have a rotary tool, carving a small notch in the front and back where the bar sits will take care of it, but it bothers me that it should require that extra step.Eventually, with enough files on it, it hung reasonably solidly and I didn't need to worry about the files falling out (much).I think I will probably simply go and get legal sized hanging files and use them--it will fill the entire space, hang securely, and gives it a better look.

The "drawer" that brings the files out is a might bit sticky on mine, not necessarily bad, given that it doesn't lock into place particularly securely either.

All said, I really like the look and design. It feels solid and like it could stand up to a good amount of use, and isn't so large that you feel like you have to leave it in place.I have mine tucked under my glass-top desk. I feel pretty good about this purchase, but don't think I can give it the full 5 star I was hoping for.

Didnt like it at all. Why does the bottom of the cushion have a split design, and the top is solid?? Makes no sense to me at all. Got it home on the double chaise, and it looks like a big futon. I didnt like it at all. Sent it back and ordered 2 strathwood single cushions in natural color and they look awesome! Dont need to but this futon looking thing. I would certainly not order another one, The only thing about this umbrella thats sort of quality is the canvas. The rest of it is all plastic and very light and they do not tell you it's plastic, the wind will probably fold it up. I had bought one from Sam's Wholesale Club about six years ago for 1/2 the price and it is still solid and working fine. It wasn't a crank up type and doesn't tilt but I dont worry about it when I'm gone. I'm going to rate this one a one star.

I was VERY pleased with the construction and comfort of this lounger, but the price to ship it to Maryland was ridiculous!I paid about $260/each for the item itself (I actually bought a pair), but was astounded to have to fork over another $180 for shipping!!If the product was available locally, I would have saved alot of money,...but, I could only find it online and had to bite the bullet!I was very impressed with the fast shipping, although ABF Freight took several days to deliver it to me after it arrived in Maryland.
