This hammock was very soft, "broken in" already, and is extremely well-made.Held two people, no problem, and that was even using the Byer of Maine hammock stand (the two sticks and a rope contraption).Very durable, nice and even weave, and didn't bleed when it got a little damp in a surprise rain shower.SO HAPPY with this hammock!Click Here to see more reviews about: Byer of Maine The Barbados Single Hammock
