I will say first-I love my two Lakeland gliders.I bought them both Summer of 2001.my father and I put them together but it took an afternoon to do it...not a mere hour. The directions were a bit ambiguous and the deep cracks in the wood...although natural and supposed to be there, I at first thought was a flaw. The holes were small and it was a "bit" difficult to get together, but once they are together, you know they will stay together. We used additional screws just to make sure. They glide wonderfully and we spent all Summer and Fall on our patio, enjoying the fire and gliding the hours away. The best surprise, they are supposed to age to grey but they still look practically brand new and Kansas winters are quite punishing. We have left them exposed to the elements and they still look beautiful. When I first opened that box and saw the split wood and the less than adequate instructions...and then had some difficulty in putting it together...well,I am just glad that I waited to write this review. They are true gems in my backyard and wouldn't give them away for anything....Click Here to see more reviews about: Lakeland Mills CF1139 Cedar Log Glider
